Lori and I are both conservative women, different, but similar…we met on FB, then met in Dallas in Highland Park Village for some Mexican fare at Mi Cocina…

Lori: Conservatives may be different and come from different backgrounds, but so many of us want the same things. There are the radicals in any group, but for the most part we want the same basic things. We need to not balk at every politician that isn’t 100% just like we want him/her. It is okay to be choosy during the primaries, but we have GOT to come together and get Obama OUT when it is time to vote.  I used to think, “throw them all out”, but I am not so sure about that anymore. Many need to go, but don’t start randomly throwing the baby out with the bath water just for the sake of cleaning house. The Republican Party is kind of like an old, classic car. It is beautiful, and still runs, but it might need a new paint job and a tune up. Let’s try to fix it up rather than send it in for “Cash for Clunkers.”

Ann: I so agree, Lori. No candidate will be perfect, but we must stand against socialism, communism, progressives, globalism and NWO type agendas and those who wish to change, even take down our country and make it over in their image, for their use and agenda.  They are dismantling our country and ignoring our constitution to meet their goals of making America a third world country. So definitely, we must all get behind whomever ends up being Obama’s opponent.. no one is perfect… but any conservative is better than Obama. Even before he was elected president, Barack Obama warned he would “bankrupt” the coal industry, if necessary and purposefully spike Americans’ utility bills in order to force the nation into using less and cleaner forms of energy. Not only is he doing that, he is trying to bankrupt our country with his reckless and wasteful spending. 

Lori:  I guess egos and directing profit to Obama’s friends is more important than electricity. Rewarding his friends is more important than America and its people.Obama is in bed with GE. So, he throws business their way.  We need to develop alternate forms of energy, while we also develop and use what we have, such as coal and oil.

Ann:  Exactly, self-serving agenda for their backers and friends. Rape Americans, while they reward their friends and punish their enemies. Obama is making America more dependant on foreign oil, while he tells Americans to develop ‘green resources’. So, he stalls the American economy, while making other countries wealthier off America’s money. Obama screws our country coming and going. In my opinion, Obama is a traitor to America and its people on every level. And when he uses his fear mongering, as in, threatening social security checks, in an attempt to try and force his agenda, it’s even more clear how unAmerican Obama the dictator is. This is not how a President talks or behaves. Nothing about Obama is America or Presidential.

Lori: I agree, Ann. As a regular, middle-class mom, I am sure many women can identify. We just want a good life for our kids and we don’t need the government telling us how to do everything. Just leave us alone and we can take care of ourselves.

Ann: We need a smaller government and to grow the private sector. This is the only way America will stay energized and profitable. The government does nothing, but regulate, and take from the private sector and we don’t need this. We, the people, created the government. We should control them, instead of them trying to control and regulate every aspect of our lives. In America, it’s not that the government controls the people as in some third-world dictatorship as Obama and his minions want. These liberals and progressives want to take what conservatives have. They want to steal from the American people and give it to those that support their agenda and this is unAmerican.

Lori: And this is exactly why, when we select an opponent to challenge Obama, we must all get behind him…

Ann: Definitely, we must rally all our energy behind the one that is chosen and not let them divide us. We must bring back our constitution and the will of the American people!
