Yes I do find it more difficult to see the truth. Our so called Goverment that is all they do is lie and more lies ..... You get to the point you have no idea who you can Trust.....

I think most people lie all the time and don't even realize it. Obama lies and some seem to accept his lies. Is it that many of us can't see the truth?

I agree. It is hard to tell the truth. But, that doesn't answer the question, does it... For some people, it is easier to lie. It depends on how you've been raised, what you've been taught. There are many people & situations that affect it. Parents. Teachers. Peers. Mentors. Faith. And, I believe, when we are young - as in "growing pains" young, we are greatly influenced by all of the above because either they hold a certain amount of power over us or we admire them.
I suppose, for those some, it becomes easy to lie. Life situations influence us greatly, & when you think about it, well, it's all a big crap-shoot. I was lucky. Great parents. Good teachers. Great friends that I still have today. My faith.
I can't say I never lie, but, for me, it is easier to tell the truth ~ no matter how hard it is. And, I hope I gave this gift to my sons, because they sure have given it back in spades... One big mutual admiration society.. lol.

*One last comment: I don't think we can use Obama as a reference in this case. As I was thinking of people we admire, he never entered my mind once. His is a different type of lying. Sound funny? It's the truth. Based on how he was raised, his mentors, & his Muslim faith, Obama lies ALL the time. It's a combination of taqqiya & pathological lying. Poor man?

Agree Obama is a pathological liar and is doing it on purpose. His intension is to lie and mislead and too many people can't see through to the truth of what he is capable of and doing.

Of course it would be easier to lie...but it is not the right thing to do.First, when lying you are going against one of God's ten commandments.
When someone lies to me it makes me CRAZY! I can't say I have never lied or I would be a liar. But I try very hard not to lie...People sometimes think I could have "softened" my response when asked a direct question. But I usually ask them do you really want me to answer that, if I feel that I might hurt their feelings.
I dated a guy once that lied about everything...sometimes just for fun I would act as tho I was believing his story then started asking questions just to watch him search his memory bank for the answer... People lie for the stupidest reasons. All you have to say is I don't care to answer that or that is really something I do not care to share. You will feel better about telling the truth and maintain the trust people have in you. no one likes to be lied to.

It's harder to stick to your principles and do right than do wrong, which is easier. Lying is easy if one is practiced, therefore it's harder to tell if those sorts are lying and harder to avoid their friendship. Truth telling sometimes hurts both parties, that's hard too.
