Completely ugly...an example of what not to wear...
We all have our bad days... but, for such a 'media endorsed as being a pleasant, happy example of a woman' and a 'media-touted-fashion-fitness icon' this is ridiculous. Here's our 'lovely' first...
I don't know what to call 'it'...
In my opinion, this is an example of what not to wear and what expressions to avoid at a public functions...
Hey Michelle... did you smell something bad?
And nice fit... maybe, you need to
hold back on the ribs, burgers and fries...
She must've missed Oprah's
'how to select the correct bra' show. Is she 'trying' to make them appear larger and failed miserably?
Okay now, we have a dress in the ugliest pattern in the world Then next, the two worst colors ever put together... not to mention the juvenile style of both... more like that of a first grader, but one back in the '50's
Bullseye! Who would wear this pinata?
Poorly assessorized and frumpy with a weird use of belts, worn under her breasts and with those 'little' cardigans... that are clearly too small for her. Is that because she is big around the middle and she doesn't have a waist? Then why draw attention to all this with a large belt?I should think that her 'stylists' would know to draw attention away, instead of, to her figure flaws.
By a certain age, most all of us have established our style without having designers, stylists and shoppers at our command and without an unlimited budget. So, what is this woman's style??? And what is her problem?
A messy, miss-mash of colors and ill-fitting garments??? This is truly scary and if this continues for another four years...we will all be blinded by this ill-fitted fashion disaster of swirling patterns and insulting colors.
Who could forget the black widow spider dress and her lady-like stance (bow legged and pigeoned-toed)... a forewarning, a foreboding of the horror to come...not only in fashion and style, but everything these two have done to our country...
In my opinion, this is the worst dressed woman in the public eye that I have ever laid eyes on...except, for maybe, Lady Ga Ga, or when I run into Walmart to purchase paper products...
Seriously, have you ever seen a woman in 'her current position' dress this garishly? Have you ever seen a woman stand and act in this manner? I live in Dallas and we have the best, worst and first in fashion and I have never seen any woman dressed at any society function, or gathering in the style Michelle Obama does...It's African and this is America not Africa... I mean, why doesn't this 'America hating woman' just wear an African muu muu and a turban, like Obama's grandmother, and forget it...as
these two are trying to take America down to being a third world country...and they behave like dictators...

Actually Julia Roberts immortalized that bow and I think that same dress or a very close version. She looked great. However, it was not worn with a sweater or a belt. You can put a bow on anything but - that don't make it a prize.

No one wants the Obama's out more than I do. Okay, so I have a lot of competition for that title but, I have to say that while you are right about Michelle's fashion choices - yeah, what's up with the belts, I've seen worse. Maybe her kids dress her. But I'm one of those people who's a little tired of the fashion competitions that get launched by "critics" on people in the public eye. Like the the Red Carpet's best and worst - who really cares. And I have noticed another thing, Michelle is a nose scruncher. Some folks, like me, arch their eyebrows - I arch one. So while I may want her out of the Whitehouse - well, she can stay, Barack's gotta go, I say let's stop picking on women who aren't our vision of "perfect". Now you ask, if Barack goes and she stays what can she do, fashion consultant maybe? No? Well, perhaps she can go looking for bad smells; with her husband's policies she can start practicing right now.

Fashion is not only fun.. it is an expression of who you are and how you express yourself. So why not make fun of this woman's choices and how she expresses herself as she and her husband take America down, put America down, even our American flag. She has stylists and all the fashion choices at her feet and look at her.. and the fit of her clothing.. She is a joke. So HA HA on her...

Perhaps when I was defending women being criticised for their fashion choices I could have left her out. I mean she is high profile and why help her by pointing those flaws out; let her look stupid. Any way I don't think the fashion world or anyone else is in danger of her taking advice any time soon. I was however serious about her kids dressing her, I wouldn't be surprised and besides, apart from Hollyweird, do liberal women really know how to dress? Do Birkendorks come in high heels?

You know it's the "lamestream" media when they're touting her as some fashion icon. Please...she can look as dopey as she wants to...but let's be honest - her kids are dressing her, there's no way adults are coming up with that stuff - especially the too small cardigans and the belts. Her kids have just got to be responsible for that; to them it's "cute".

I don't know of one professional or even semi-professional (like a clerk or secretary) black woman who dresses like Moose does. In fact I have known and worked with many black women who had exquisite taste in clothes and a flair for wearing things that suit them.

Actually Michelle is so unattractive and her body so large and strangly shaped that it would be a chore and a challenge to make her look good.. much less refined and elegant. The whole administration can be summed up in her fashion sense and appearance.. a horror show!

Don't forget the ostentatious foppishness of Louis 14th and 15th of France. Trust me, the nobility only affected his style because they had to. These people have the taste of pre-pubescent adolescents trying to mimic Madonna and all the glitzy Vegas showgirl fashion of Fredrick's of Hollywood. Ann, the Narciso Rodriguez "Black Widdow" dress she wore was augmented from the beautiful original runway dress that sold for $3,900 at Neiman Marcus. She obviously couldn't wear the body hugging sexy version done in slightly different hues, including a touch of metallic and the spandex fabric mix. Once it showed up on her, the dress didn't sell in the final markdown - a FRACTION of the original cost. I know ...I called Neiman's. MO also pulled a "Fast One" on Maria Pinto, a designer in Chicago who outfitted MO on previous occasions. It seems MO was going to wear a Pinto dress, but showed up in that train wreck. Pinto had just opened her multi-million $$$ shop in Chicago ....and then went bankrupt.

Michelle appears to like to dress younger than her years and just can't get away with it. She sees herself one way and expects us to see her that way too... Sad thing is that if she had a "heart" of kindness and love, we'd see that and not so much her wardrobe, but she has such a look of contempt and hate all over her face that it makes what she wears even less palitable... She just doesn't have any class or decorum and it shows.
